I walked to the conference room. It’s travel day for the team since they are leaving for an away game in Tennessee.
The guys all meet here in the stadium conference room for the usual pep talks and stuff. Plus, they can leave their cars here instead of worrying about parking it at an airport. Then they get into the shuttle bus but takes them to the airport and they fly off to wherever they need to go.
I opened the doors of the conference room and just saw the sea of massive bodies around the room. They are all dressed nicely. That’s one thing we stress, the guys have to look nice when they are on the road. A lot of teams have this policy because you don’t want a bunch of hoodlums representing you and the city you are playing for.
