Mikey I made my way back to the locker room, where everyone was dressed and ready to hit the field. When I walked in, the chatter died down, and all eyes turned to me. I headed over to my locker, quickly shedding my clothes while feeling Liam's gaze on me. “Dude, you’re not my type,” I shot at him. “Not mine either, asshole,” Liam replied. “Stop staring, it’s creepy, and I’m already late,” I said, slapping my pads onto my body. “Yeah, why are you late? What’s going on?” Liam asked. “Actually, I was here on time. Coach sent me upstairs,” I explained, pulling my jersey on. “s**t, that’s not good,” he mumbled. I plopped down on the bench. “No, it’s not. But it went better than I thought. At least, I think it did. Hell, I’m not sure right now,” I admitted while slipping on my cleats.
