Raven’s POV
“Jesus Lexi, you’re hurting me.” I said as I winced from her damn dagger claws digging into my biceps, while she half dragged me up the stairs towards the bedroom I had been assigned.
Through her gritted teeth she began to mumble something at me, along the lines of, “If you would just tell your grandfather the truth, then I wouldn’t have to do this.”
“Truth?” I had told him everything I knew about Liam, which wasn’t very much, but I didn’t withhold anything from him. If anything, I thought that maybe the two of them would be the ones that would be able to enlighten me about Liam, since he seemed to be a rogue, but I guess my grandfather didn’t take too kindly to my sarcasm when I turned the tables to question him.
