“What is that?” Chance asks as he moves to my side, staring up at where my flashlight was directly pointed at. We both remained silent, as we stared at the carvings, before Chance reached above his head, wiping away what seemed like decades of old dust and cobwebs. With the debris removed, the carvings were as clear as the day they were probably carved, and I couldn’t help but let out a gasp, as I realized what one of the carvings was of. I had seen this symbol before, but I couldn’t remember exactly where I had seen it. Chance, on the other hand, recognized this symbol right away, as he says to me, “This symbol has something to do with your family. It’s on the headstone of your ancestor’s grave in the graveyard too.” “I have seen this symbol before myself, but I can’t remember where.
