Dominic sat in the interview room, because of course the Alpha House had an interview room. Adam had scheduled the interview before any of the protests had occurred, so the stakes for Dominic’s time with the press today had heightened substantially.
He could hear them coming before Adam opened the door, leading in Blake Mylonapoulos, the most well-known journalist in Wintercrest—and across several other parks, too. Dominic stood, smiling as Blake approached. The journalist was wearing a navy suit with a yellow shirt underneath that made him look fresh and chic.
“Mr. Mylonapoulos,” Dominic greeted politely.
“Please,” the journalist replied, “neither of us has the time to go through all those syllables on the regular. Call me Blake.”
