I had a pretty crappy night sleep again that night and when I got out of bed I got ready for the day. I had to eat breakfast with my parents and so did Carter.
So we all sat there in silence and my parents could tell that I was pissed off with them, but they didn’t say anything to me.
When it was finally time to leave for school Carter and I left the house without saying anything to my parents and we started walking down the road.
“You can’t stay mad at your parents.” Carter said.
“I can try.” I said.
“Aria. I know that this is really hard right now. But we are just gonna have to grin and bear it. They don’t want you to leave just yet. They believe their friends over me, and they should.” Carter said.
