She doesn't take crap from anyone for long. Cora might hold her tongue and think about things before speaking, rarely lashing out at the time, but when Cora speaks, it's clear, calm, and without showing too much emotion, holding it together; while debating an issue, tears and anger can come later. That's what I learned about my woman: she doesn't open her mouth to hear her own voice.
