The house is dark and quiet. Lux must be moving around, because I haven't caught her yet. The only sound though is from my weight against the floorboards.
My girl is sneaky.

Lux's giggle echoed through the quiet house again. It was adorable, and nearly impossible to pinpoint where it was coming from. Wherever she is, she must have eyes on me.
Suddenly, I saw a dark blur at the other end of the hall. I smirked, but played it off like I didn't see her. I kept my same pace, pretending to still be searching for her. When I got to the end of the hall, I ducted into the room I saw her go into.
