Something happened today between Lux and Giovanni. Not sure what, but I know it's something. Lux seems... a little more relaxed, yet somehow more tense too. She doesn't look ready to bolt for the exit as soon as she can, but she looks... on edge.
Did the don say he was coming to get her?
Nah, she would have told me. Either that, or she would have tried to knock my a.ss out to run before he got here. She'd definitely be freaking out more.
I knew Lux wouldn't tell me though, so I didn't ask. I had a plan to find out for myself anyway. A plan that, of course, involved Baffle. I haven't had a chance to tell War everything yet. Dude's too busy, and until I had more answers I didn't see a point.
