All day I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop. It hasn't yet, but I can't seem to get the feeling to go away. I'm just waiting for Baffle to pull some sh.it and push me away again. I've been waiting all day for him to tell me that last night and this morning were a mistake.
He hasn't.
In fact, Baffle has been shockingly affectionate all day. Ever since he found me after his meeting with War. I mean, we didn't do much, but I guess I expected him to ignore me or something at least.
Instead, Baffle found me in the common room with Deidra and her adorable baby, Petal. Petal was so tiny and cute and wiggly. I was awkward and uncomfortable at first. That all melted away the moment that adorable baby smiled at me. I didn't even care wh
