It's strange thinking about what my life would be like if Dad had stayed here. I would be a different person. This club would be different. I bet Dad would even stand by Rubble and show his support to his new president. Because Dad was a good man like that.

I turned my head to see Cutter standing in the doorway. I'd grabbed a bottle and a glass from the bar and snuck out the back. I just wanted some air. It seems that at Shadow Rage — when the sun goes down, everyone heads for the bar. Which meant this was a quiet place for me to hide. Well, as quiet as it can get with the music blaring in the bar.
I definitely didn't want to be found though.
