It wasn't supposed to go like this.
I swear I didn't plan it.
I admit that I'd been ignoring Sorsha all day after realizing she had feelings for me. Especially after the conversation with my brothers. I was just going to put distance between us — stop fu.cking her, stop cuddling with her, stop the soft talk she always seemed to pull out of me. I just wanted to draw a line.
But the longer I ignored her, the more I thought about what I'd have to give up to push her away, the worse I felt.
