After my failure with the whole shower seduction thing, I had the best shower of my life. Seriously, that shower head was no joke. It was so relaxing. I could have stayed in there for hours.
And now here I am, squeaky clean, staring at the pile of clothes I'd brought in here with me. I'm stalling. Not because I don't want to meet the club. Because I'm trying to find some excuse to ask Baffle to help me into my clothes. I'm coming up empty though.
I let out a long breath as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I look a lot better without all the blood on me. My eyes are brighter too. I wonder if Baffle will notice me more now...
