Brix blew out a breath, probably deciding it was best to just not argue. Cobra wanted a better look at the saddlebags, and Brix was happy to show his gift off. He and his dad gushed over the quality of the bags. Then they moved on to Adam's tool-set. Brix was going on and on about how he didn't deserve such an awesome gift from me. Claire excitedly told me all about how she couldn't wait to get her kitchen set home. It was all very sweet. It felt really nice.
This really is turning out to be the best Christmas I've had since my parents were alive, and I owe it all to Brixton.
