"Are we having another family night for New Year's Eve?" I asked.
"Probably," he said. "Usually the club throws a big party. Birdie and Adam always come for it. We do stuff for the kids during the day, but when it gets late it's adults only."
"How late?" I asked.
Brix shrugged as he thought about it.
"Think around 9-10 o'clock."
"You guys don't let them stay up til midnight?" I asked, surprised.
"The club is still adjusting to kids being around," he muttered. "The teenage boys are a little different. As long as it's okay with their parents, they can stay, but the club bunnies know that they're minors and not to touch them. Sometimes we sneak them beers, but other than that, they just get to see everything. Which isn't... that much better, honestly."
