"Okay, this is not what I thought you meant when you said we'd be like secret spies," Saylor grumbled to Sabel.
Right now, Sabel, Saylor, Lux and I are all sitting at a picnic table in the backyard of the clubhouse. They're having a random family BBQ today. It was Deidra's idea. Her way of trying to make the club more family-like before their baby gets here.
Waylen and his cousins are here, running around with water guns. Even some kids from Waylen's class are here with their parents. It made me smile, but hurt my heart. Because Odie would love this. She'd have so much fun with those water guns. It's been frigging months since she's even left the house.
