Calix, Odie, and I have settled into a good rhythm. She loves being here and having a dad. And I love that Odie and Waylen are becoming best friends.
I've called the local school to ask about getting Odie signed up for kindergarten. It's still the middle of the summer, but I know these things work fast. And thanks to Deidra, I don't have to worry about the school treating Odie differently just because she belongs to the club.
I started seeing Dr. Zimmerman again a couple of days ago. We had a very long talk about everything. I even told her about Delight's journal. And then I asked her about jobs and if she would consider hiring me.
