"Are we sure about this?" Saylor asked as we all walked to Cal's truck. Yes, I am taking his truck. It's spacious, and we apparently have a two and a half hour drive one way.
"No, but we're gonna do it anyway," I replied as I threw the driver's side door open.
"Look Nads," Say said before I could get in, looking at me over the hood. "I totally agree with you finding answers and getting closure, but I'm worried. You're pregnant, and you've been... like really angry lately. I don't want you to do something stupid."
"Which is why we're going with her," Lux said as she hopped in the back.
"I know how to fight, so we're good," Sorsha added as she got in after Lux.
