Sienna’s POV
Maya and Darius arrived with the twins and several bags. Kael and I hurried downstairs to help them. Maya held Isla tightly against her chest while Darius carried Ava in one arm and pulled a suitcase with the other. The strain of the last day showed on both their faces. Darius no longer carried the authority of Silverlake’s Alpha, but he did not look regretful. He had chosen his daughters without hesitation. We carried their belongings upstairs and placed them inside our apartment.
“No, Si,” Maya protested as she looked around. “We cannot force you out of your own home. We only need an empty apartment in the complex.”
I held Ava while Maya cradled Isla. I looked at Kael, and he nodded, giving me permission to explain.
“This is your apartment now,” I told her.
