Sienna’s POV
Kael wore me out in the shower so thoroughly that I had to sit on the edge of the bed for several minutes afterwards and remember how to use my legs. I had followed him upstairs intending to wash the garden soil from both of us before our guests arrived. Kael, unfortunately, had other plans. By the time we finally left the bathroom, I was clean, breathless and far too tired to prepare the house properly.
‘You knew exactly what would happen when you followed him,’ Nyla reminded me.
‘I thought he might behave because our friends were coming.’
‘That was your first mistake.’
