Sienna and I went to bed disturbed by everything Maya had revealed. I had known Silverlake remained hostile towards her, but I did not realise someone had attacked her car while her daughters were inside. If Sienna and I had remained there, I would have killed someone by now. I understood Darius’s anger. A wolf had endangered his mate and children, yet Edmund stopped him from delivering the punishment he believed the crime deserved.
