Kael’s POV
Taking Sienna upstairs was inevitable. Our moment in the woods had been interrupted before we could finish what we went there to do, and the second she whispered that she had enjoyed herself, every bit of control I had managed to regain disappeared. I lifted her into my arms and carried her upstairs while breathing in her scent. She moaned softly because she knew exactly what I was doing and what would happen the moment we reached our bedroom. Part of my mind remained troubled by the attacks. I feared Alpha Moreau would eventually cost us our home, but Sienna made it difficult to think about fear when she was in my arms.
