Nolan lowered his beer with a hard expression.
“Alpha Moreau is not weak,” he warned me. “Darius is considered the better Alpha partly because of the strength of the Hale name and his father’s reputation. Moreau will not be easy to defeat.”
“I will take my chances,” I replied.
Nolan shook his head, anger and fear mixing in his scent.
“And risk my sister’s happiness?” he demanded. “What do you think will happen to Sienna if something happens to you?”
