Katya couldn't sleep, and she went downstairs to think. She doesn't like keeping secrets from Zell, especially something this important. Katya was looking out the window. “Grandmother, tomorrow I have to tell Zell. Since I’ve gained this Empathy power, I’m feeling everyone’s guilt. This is one power I regret sometimes. Hearing their thoughts is one thing, but feeling them is so different. I've always known you two hid something, but I never invaded your private thoughts. Maybe I should have said something the day I found out, and we wouldn't be in this predicament."
Helosia walked behind her and hugged her. “ I know sweetie. I’ve warned Zoe that if she doesn’t tell Zell you were. I thought she would have told them years ago.”
