We talked to him for a few more minutes before Ox stepped out of the gate. "I have been sent to collect my beautiful daughter-in-law. And as much as I hate to do this to ya, I was told to blind fold you. We have a surprise to show you," he said in his gruff way.
He walked over to me and hugged me as I said, "I understand. You'll just have to help me because I'm not in my usual peg legs. I have the wooden pirate ones on today. And as much as I've walked around the house in them since I got them, I'm still getting used to them. Especially outside. I did walk around our yard with Toby in them, but it's a bit difficult."
