She agrees excitedly and starts telling me everything that's happening at school. I'm surprised by how communicative she has become. She used to be a shy girl, somewhat reserved, with few friends. But now... she's blossoming.
"Is Susy the girl your mom trains?"
"Yes, her. Mommy's boyfriend's daughter. At first, I felt like she wanted to take Mom away from me, I didn't like her, but now I don't think she's bad. Her uncle is very funny. He told me I could also call him Uncle Abdiel. Does that bother you at all?"
