Chase’s POV The house was finally quiet. It was past midnight—closer to one, maybe—and the last echoes of moon songs had faded hours ago. The triplets slept in their shared room: Jaden sprawled like he owned the bed, Jasmine curled around her wolf plush, Jamin on his side with one small hand tucked under his cheek. Their breathing was the only sound left in the hallway—soft, even, alive. I’d been on the couch with my leg propped, staring at the security feeds until my eyes burned.
