Kimberly’s POV
I don’t know how they noticed me so fast. I was so careful. I even brought a gift just in case I got caught for plausible deniability. I knew that Colton’s brother, Craig, and his law partner had filed a case against me and had come by my apartment looking for me. I left that place two weeks ago. I wasn’t planning on coming back to it. I had taken what I wanted; the rest they could just trash.
I wasn’t getting near Emma today, so they couldn’t use the no-contact order against me. I just wanted to see if I could get in and out of their property without being noticed. I saw that they had cameras. They were taking their safety very seriously. They should, but it won't help them in the long run. I knew I could get in and out of here now, but it cost me.
