Joan’s POV
I dressed up to go see Halton. I have no other choice. I need to get him to drop the divorce and take me back. That little b***h and her mother got in his head. That's why he wanted to divorce me so badly. The other men I was seeing took off like I was some kind of leper. I wanted to hurt Emma so badly for what she had done; she had ruined everything.
I had everything lined up perfectly. I would move forward to live my very best life. Then Andrea told him that I had been going out on him. Halton was furious and stopped speaking to me weeks ago.
