We got to Pennsylvania, trust me it was a surprise to find out Stephen’s mother was coming with us. I hope this woman realizes we are not staying at some five star hotel.
The plane landed and I could see a young man waiting for us. As we got closer to him, he asked, “Are you Stephen?”
Stephen nodded his head and said, “Yeah, I take it you are John?”
The young man nodded his head, “Yeah, Peter doesn’t want to leave the hospital, so he asked my dad if we could pick you and Laura up from here.”
“Appreciate it. They should be bringing the luggage to us momentarily.” Stephen told the man.
“How bad is my mother?” I asked him. He turned to me and said gently, “I’m not sure but from what I can understand from my parents, it’s… just brace yourself Ms Laura.”
