Caden’s POV
I had begged Parker to stay upstairs with Jeffrey. She argued because she didn’t want to; she wanted to stay with me. She begged me to just let Colton and Jeffrey handle it, but I wanted to have a little talk with Nolan. I knew I wasn’t going to get another chance to speak with him privately, or at least semi-privately. Colton told Jeffrey that if no one gave the safe word after knocking, he needed to shoot first and ask questions later.
