Taren changed our route after Lysander arrived. We would not return to the trail leading from the shelter, because the Blackridge wolves could already be watching it. The two warriors Lenora sent gave us another route toward the road. We would regroup there and decide whether searching for Kellan was still possible.
Lysander stayed with us.
Taren had made it clear that everyone followed his instructions while we were in the area. Lysander agreed without arguing. Tessa walked beside me as we moved between the trees. I kept thinking about the four wolves Lucan had sent.
