Nobody moved.
My phone shouldn't have been on.
It shouldn't have been receiving anything.
Morgan stared at the screen in his hand.
“That was powered off.”
“I know.”
“SIM removed?”
“Before we left the first location.”
True was already beside him.
“Don't touch anything else.”
“I wasn't planning to.”
My skin crawled.
This wasn't just someone knowing where we were.
They knew we'd found the device.
“How?”
Tootsie looked toward the CT room.
“Could they have followed us?”
“No vehicle stayed with us,” True said.
“That doesn't mean they didn't.”

“Assume location is compromised.”
