***Alex***
I felt my shoulder relax a bit when we pulled through the gates at the clubhouse. I had been out on a run, and it took longer than I would have liked, but we did land the deal. I had the paperwork signed and rolled up in the pocket of my kutte.
The first thing I noticed was a truck I had not seen before parked at the end of the line of bikes. I glanced over it as I walked to the front door. It was in nice shape, not new, but at least from 2006 to 2010. Dodge pickup. It was clean-looking. Wonder if the PRez has company?
Shotgun steps out just as we reach the door, I almost bumped into him cause I was looking at the truck.
"s**t, man, you guys are back," He clapped me on the back.
"Yeah, it took a bit, but it settled." I glanced from him to the truck again. "Who's that?" I nodded at it.
He looks but lets out a chuckle, "That's the new cleaning lady's truck. Undertaker had someone show up a few days ago about the ad; he hired her right on the spot."
Something in his voice pulls my attention back to him, "Is it that bad?" I asked,
He shook his head, "She is..." He trailed off, "A firecracker, you wouldn't think it by looking at her, but she got some sass to her."
Stepping around him, we walk in other are up and greet us when they see us. That was when I spotted someone towards the back of the common room; she was mopping her head, which was down, but then it came up as she turned to look at who came in.
I sucked in a breath when her green eyes locked on me. She was a smaller woman with curves; her blond hair was pulled up into a messy bun. She was all woman, not like these stick-thin club girls with no meat on their bones; her face was bare of makeup, and she looked so natural. I can see she is more my age. My c**k stiffens against the zipper of my jeans. I do not take any of the club girls to bed; they are all a brand of crazy I do not want anything to do with.
I couldn't take my eyes off her. She didn't even look away. She held my stare. My lips twitched, liking the challenge that was being laid out.
I was about to move towards her when I spotted Diamond walking this way, then bumped into the woman, making her stumble to the side. I was about to walk over there, but Undertaker stopped me, shaking his head,
"She is new, and she needs to be able to handle herself, and besides, look to her left and down," He says in a low voice. I know what he is saying, but still, these club girls are getting out of hand. I do as he says, looking to the left of her and down, when I see it,
A freaking dog is lying there, its eyes locked on Diamond and the other ones who just walked up.
"What the hell?" I say, but Undertaker just shook his head, "Watch," He knows something, but he ain't gonna say,
I watch as Diamond says something; we are too far away to hear it, Then she kicks the mop bucket over I see her lean the mop that was in her hand against the wall her hands go to her hips as she says something making a loud scoff come from Diamond some more words are spoken I spot her eyes landing on us over Diamond shoulder, when suddenly the woman moves sweeping Diamond legs out making me fall to the ground, Dragging her forward through the water from the bucket, She whips out a pistol from behind her pressing it to Diamonds forehead, the dog that was on the floor is up baring its teeth at Diamond.
A bunch of whistles go off around the room. Even I was shocked at how fast and smooth she moved, and then the whole gun thing, yeah, my c**k is standing at attention Im turned the hell on, and I do not even know this woman.
"Well, isn't that something?" Prez says as he watches it unfold. He is moving as the woman says something to Diamond, making her nod her head. She stands up, moving back and tucking the pistol back behind her. The dog moved back as well,
"Savvy!" Prez calls out, making her look over at him. She had this calm look on her face.
"My office now!" He barked at her, but her face didn't change, even when she looked at me, Ridge, Shotgun, and Tornado all followed Prez. I didn't move right away. I couldn't pull my eyes away from her, but then I heard Prez whistle. Turning, I followed behind them.
She walked with the dog right beside her. She shut the door once she stepped in, turning to face us. We stood behind Prez as he was behind his desk, arms crossed, staring her down.
"Care to explain yourself?" He barked at her, but she didn't move or flinch, "And since when did you carry a freaking gun on you?" He barked again at her, and once again she it didn't faze her. But the dog let out a low growl.
"Look, if you are going to yell, then you can piss off, but if you are going to speak to me like you have manners, then I will answer your questions." She spoke, and her voice sounded like honey.
I heard Shotgun snort next to me, earning a glare from Prez over his shoulder. But Prez looked back at the small woman who was now staring him down, and I saw his shoulder drop along with his arms.
"Alright, Savvy, Sorry, I do not mean to yell at you, but I was a little taken aback not only with how you took down someone, but you whipped out a gun like it was a natural thing. I didn't even know you had one on you."
She smiled at him, and my chest grew tight. Fucker, why is she smiling at him?
"If I told you I had it on the day I came for the job, what would you say?" She says. I see Prez tense as he turns to look at Shotgun with a raised brow,
"You didn't search her before you brought her into the club?"
Shotgun shrugged."I didn't think to, I mean, look at her," He held a hand out to her, "Would you think she had something tucked away. Besides, she didn't give me a chance when she scolded me about manners."
I covered my mouth to keep from smiling, Freaking i***t.
Prez sighed as he looked back at her, "Savvy, I'm not comfortable with you carrying that around the clubhouse."
This got her attention as she stood up straighter. She was about to say something, but Prez held up his hand,
"I only allow my brothers to carry, as we all have permits to carry and have been trained on how to handle a gun."
She lets out a snort before Prez can even finish what he was saying. But then she starts to laugh.
"Something funny, Savvy?" Prez asks, he sounds pissed.
She waves her hand, "You are, cause you think I do not know how to handle a weapon properly, well, let me tell you something,"
Reaching behind her, she pulls out a small folded wallet from her pocket. She opens it, tossing something on his desk.
"I have had my carry permit since I was twenty-one, and I have been handling a gun since I was seventeen. My husband thought it would be a good thing, seeing as he was going to be away a lot with his joining the Army, and I was home alone with our newborn son, so I would say I have more experience then tom d**k and Harry in this room. And I will tell you this right now, if you think you can force me to give up my pistol, you are sorely wrong. I do not care who you are or what you are. No one will make me give this up,"
She walked forward, ripping the card from his hand, turning and walking out of the room. The dog hurried behind her as she left the door open.
