***Alex*** I stare at the open doorway, where she stormed out. I couldnt read the look on her face when she jerked the card out of Prez's hand. I do know there was a storm brewing in her eyes. "Prez. Did you run a background check on her?" Ridge asks. Prez shakes his head, "No, not yet. Keys has been busy with other things; I was going to get to it this week. But she has been an issue, and she has not done anything. She was upfront about the dog the day she came in. She is a good worker, keeps things cleaned up, and keeps mostly to herself." I moved, stepping up next to his desk after I finally pulled my eyes away from the doorway. "She said her husband was in the Army." "She said he passed." Prez looks over at me, "The day she came in, I mistook her words and thought her husband would be staying here with her. She corrected me by saying he passed. and that it was only her and the dog now," "I remeber her saying somethign about a kid, when she was reprimanding me over my manners." Shotgun spoke but had his head dropped. "Chaos, call Keys, I know he is busy right now with the patch over soon taking place, he is running all the names from the other club, but this is important, I dont think I hired a crazy woman, but there is something about her she isn't telling anyone," Nodding my head, I pull out my phone, shooting a text off to Keys, knowing it's better than calling him. My phone dinged. Looking down, I see he replied, "He said he is on his way." I told Prez. Just then, there was a loud commotion that echoed down the hall. A loud bark came along with a snarl. "s**t, what now?" We all tore out of the office, rushing to the common area as voices were heard. Hurrying through the doorway, we came to a stop as I saw one of the prospects on the floor, held there by that dog, and the woman, Savvy, standing there, arms crossed, as she glared down at the man. "What the f**k is going on!" Prez bellows, making everyone jump. Savvy lifts her eyes to look at them, and something in them pulls at me. There is pain in them, but not like she was physically hurt; this was deeper. "Savvy?" Prez speaks, but it's low; he must have seen it too, the wildness in them. "Can you let him up, please?" She looks back down at the man, "Blue, release." She spoke, and the dog dropped the prospect's arm, moving back to sit next to her. Someone helps the prospect up, and I see it's the one who was on the run with me. Finn, I think his name is, he is a whiny little s**t, and I do not think he will make it to get patched in. "What happened?" Prez asked as he went to move towards Savvy, but stopped when a low growl carried through the room. "f*****g crazy ass b***h sicked her dam dog on me again!" Finn yells, A loud bark made him shut it and step back, "Again?" Prez asked as he looked over at Savvy, "What does he mean by again?" Savvy shakes her head. I can see she is barely holding it together. Her body is slightly trembling as she tightens her arms around herself. She is on the verge of a full-blown panic attack; her breathing is picking up. Maybe some sort of PTSD. Prez sees it too. He holds up his hands, trying to take a step forward, but the dog stops him yet again. "Prez." I call him, making him look back at me, "Let me try." He looks at her and then at me again. With a small nod, he steps back, I move to take his spot. I can hear him giving orders to clear out and have Finn's arm checked by Med. "Savvy," I call her. She looks up at me, but she has a far-off look in her eyes. She is breathing harder now. I can see the white on her knuckles as she grips her arms, holding herself. "Savvy. hunnie, I need you to get Blue to stand down. Please," I keep my voice low. I do not move. I know if I do, Im dog meat, and by the looks of that dog, he could do some damage. "Hunnie, you need to sit down. I only want to help you. I'm not going to do anything but help you to the chair right there." I take one small step, hoping and praying that this dog jumps at me. Before I can take another, her eyes flutter back, and her legs give out; she crashes to the floor. I move to lunge forward to catch her, but I'm too far away from her. She slams to the floor. Blue is on her, lying across her chest, whinnying as he licks her hand. I drop to my knees next to her, but the dam dog snaps at me. s**t. Come on, think she gave him a simple command to release. I wonder, "Blue Heel," I say sternly. The dog moves quickly as he removes himself from her, then lies next to her, but his eyes are on me. Reaching out, I check her pulse; it is strong, but she is clammy and pale-looking. I hear footsteps, "What the hell happened?" Prez says as he stops right behind me. "She passed out. I was trying to get her to move to the chair, but before I could get to her, she hit the floor." "Get Med, Finn's arm can wait, he is the ass who started it, I want Savvy checked!" I move to scoop her up, but the dog growls. "Shit." I heard someone say behind me, "Im not going to hurt her," I tell the dog like it will understand me, but he dont growl again, and I scoop her up. She felt so light. God, was she eating? I felt her pistol, which was in a holder that was strapped around her. I started to walk to the couch. Whistling for the dog, he was right there next to me. Once I lay her down, he was on the floor looking up at her. Medic came hurrying over but stopped once he spotted the dog, "Um, Prez." He looked over at Understaker, "What is that?" He nodded to Blue. "That's Blue, she is his owner." "Uh. Then how am I to check her over if she is out cold and that thing looks like it wants to eat my face off?" Blue growled again at anyone who moved. Stepping back, I whistled, snapping my fingers, "Blue heel." I say to him, and he gets up and moves, sitting next to me. Undertaker raises a brow at me but says nothing. Med moved, kneeling to check her over, but keeping one eye on Blue. Blue never moved from next to me, but his eyes were on his girl on the couch. Med looked up. "What happened?" He asked, but everyone looked to me. "She passed out. I think she was having a panic attack; she was breathing hard and fast. I tried to get her to sit, but she blacked out before I got to her." He nodded as he looked at her again. "Her pulse is strong, a little fast, but if she was worked up about something, then that's normal. She looks a little pale. Has anyone seen her eat? How long has she been here?" Prez stepped closer, "A few days now, I do not know about eating. She is the new cleaner I hired. I would have to ask around about her eating." Med stood, "She will be alright. She will most likely have a bad headache when she wakes, seeing as she has a good-sized bump in the back, from where I assume she hit the floor." He looked at me. "She didnt hit anything else?" Shaking my head, "No, she dropped straight down to the floor. Then Blue was on her."
