***Savvy*** I ended up giving in and agreeing to shift to a different room. This side of the clubhouse, I had learned, was only for the officers of the club. The club girls and other memebers such as the prospects, were placed on the side I started on. With the help of a few prospects, we moved all me belongs in one trip. I was now standing in a room that was bigger than the first one. It had a connecting bathroom, where the other room we all shared the bathroom. It had a larger bed and a walk-in closet. Which I did not have enough clothes to fill even half of it. The room itself looked different from the other one I was in. A throat cleared, making me spin around. Chaos stood in the doorway, arms crossed, he was leaning on the door jam with one shoulder. "I hope I didnt kick someone out of their room," I say to him. Shaking his head, "Nope, this room has been empty for a little bit. It used to belong to one of the extra enforcers we had, but he decided to go nomand." "Oh.. wait, how many enforcers are there?" I asked, feeling a little confused. I know Shotgun was one. He holds up his hand, lifting three fingers. "Three, normally we like to have four, but it's not a must." I tilt my head, "Why so many?" "Because we have a lot of not-so-friendly people who like to stir up trouble, they are the ones tasked with protecting the club; they do all the hard hitting, I guess you can say." My eyes land on the side of his leather vest, SAA was stitched there. "Whats that stand for?" I nod to his chest. He tips his head down, looking, "Sargent At Arms." He states like Im going to know what that means. This is all new territory for me. I just raised my brows at his words, not saying anything, just waiting, He let out a small sigh, "Im the head of security, I hand out orders to the Enforcers, Im responsible for protecting the leadership and enforcing the bylaws and codes of the club." "Oh, so basically you do the job of a Sargent?" He nodded his head, "In a way, yes. I am the third highest ranked member, Prez is the head of it, then his VP, which is Storm, and then me." "Oh, that makes sense, I guess." I grab some clothes, then move to the dresser and place them in the drawers. This is the most I have talked with anyone here besides Undertaker. I wasnt uncomfortable, his presence didnt bother me, it did the opposite, which was odd to me as I hardly knew him, but there was a calmness about him. I heard him tapping at his phone. I turned to look at him, "You dont need to hang around, I will be fine on my own." I tell him. n ot that I didnt mind him being here, but I didnt want to take up any of his time. I know Undertaker said about him watching me, but I still hadn't agreed to that. I agreed to move rooms, not have a babysitter. "No can do. You heard Undetaker, you are to have a guard at all times, and seeing how no one is interested in becoming a meal for your dog, Im who you get." Blue whined, getting up, walking over to the man, letting him rub his ears, "See, he likes me." He shoots me a grin. "Traitor," I say under my breath to Blue. But he does not move away from Chaos; instead, he falls over rolling on his back, showing his belly. Chaos chuckles, then kneels, giving Blue what he wants. "Whatever, I grumble, I wasnt mad at him, I was just annoyed that they thought I needed a babysitter. "Do you know what will happen with that guy. Finn?" I asked, trying to move the conversation along, not liking the silence that filled the air around us. It wasn't bad, I just don't like it, the slow falimair ache settles back in when it's too quiet. "Not sure yet, Prez will find out what happened first, he will send someone to speak with the guy from the gas station and gather all the info he needs, then he will go from there, but my guess would be he will be pushed out. That's one thing Prez does not allow: to bully a woman. None of us is like that, he didnt start with us, so some of them are not adjusting and do not like our rules." I turned to look. I stopped when I saw he had sat down completely on the floor, now leaning up agasint the wall, and Blus was lying next to his leg. I sucked in a breath. That's how Blue used to lie with Stephen, I do not know how many times I would find them two sitting like that, I felt the burn in my eyes as tears tried to build. I blinked fast, trying to push them back. Blue must have picked up on my mood shift. He jerked up, hurrying over to me. I knelt, grabbing his face, pressing my head to his. "Savvy?" I heard a deep voice a hand touched my shoulder. I lifted my head; I know tears have fallen. I wasnt able to keep them at bay. Hand suddenly cupped my face, "s**t, Babygirl, what happened?" His thumbs brushed along my cheek. His hands were warm and steady. I shut my eyes, soaking in the feeling of them. More tears poured from me at the thoughts that swirled in my head. I was beginning to feel dizzy from it. "Savvy, I need you to talk to me." "Im sorry." I choked out as a hard sob left me. Next thing I know, I was pulled into a warm, hard body, and arms went around me. I instantly pressed my face against the solid wall. "Breath with me." A hand rubbed long, slow strokes up and down my back. I could hear his heart beat, his chest rising and falling, I found myself falling into beat with it. I dont know how long it took when I finally lifted my head, my eyes came to meet hazel ones. They held concern as he searched my face. I then took in our positions, and heat filled my face. I was sitting completely on his lap as he sat on the floor, his arms around me, one hand pressed to my lower back. My own hands were gripping the front of his vest. I saw the wet spot, it was shiny agasint the leather. "Oh, god Im so sorry," I went to scurry off his lap, but he tightened his hold, pinching my chin, forcing me to look up. He didnt say anything, just looked at me, his eyes moving all over my face. like he was searching for an answer without asking anything. "Are you okay to move?" His voice was low. Nodding, "Yes, I think so." With a small nod, he let my chin go, letting me slide off his lap. A hand came out in front of me as I was about to get up. I looked up, seeing he was already on his feet, holding out a hand ot me. How did he get up that fast? Taking his hand, he helped me up, not letting my hand go right away. He searched my face one more time before dropping my hand. "I wont push. But when you are ready Ill listen." I could only nod, not able to find my voice as a wave of emotion washed over me. Most people would push to know what happened, why I reacted like that, what caused it, but he wasn't; he was going to wait till I was ready to tell. "I will step out, give you some time alone. I will only be in the common room." He moves towards the door before he steps out. "Thank you." I say, making him stop glancing at me over his shoulder, "For." I wave my hand towards the spot on the floor. "No problem, Savvy," He shoots a wink at me over his shoulder, then slips out, shutting the door behind him.
