Evelyn’s POV
I knew instantly that this was Olivia merely trying to get under my skin. The second she let those words fall out of her mouth, she turned her head to smile directly at me. Meanwhile, Kane was too busy looking over Henri’s notes to catch her smug behavior.
Instead of getting irritated and steamed, I merely shrugged at her. “I’m sure we can find you a spot at one of the children's activity tents,” I told her calmly.
Olivia’s smile fell to the floor. Her whole demeanor became rather standoffish. Was she anticipating my anger? Was she hoping that I would cause another emotional scene?
