“What do you mean?” I asked, my voice laced with disbelief. I just hoped I hadn’t heard Landon correctly. “Abby is at the station?”
“Yes, Liam. She got into a fight with Cora and the cops arrested them,” he replied, the exhaustion palpable in his voice.
I shook my head in disappointment.
What was she doing with Cora?
She had been making bad decisions lately.
I knew that whatever reconciliation party they were having wasn’t going to end well. And she told me I was overreacting when I got angry because she hung out with Cora.
“What are they saying? Are you with her?” I asked, dragging a hand down my face.
“No,” Landon sighed. “I’m having an important meeting that I can’t miss, and I need you to pick her up from the station.”
