As soon as the door closes behind Eli, Kael closes the distance between us.
"What happened, Sera? Why are you angry with me and don't you dare say you are not? I felt it the moment you stepped into the room," Kael asks.
I stare at him for a long pause, debating on what exactly to say. Do I tell him I'm pissed that he ditched me to go have dinner with a gorgeous blonde who is probably a better fit for him or do I just say I'm pissed he left me alone on our first date and see if he tells me the rest on his own? Stop acting like a petulant child Sera. Just tell him you know everything and see what excuse he comes up with.
