Oh God. Did I say I couldn’t wait to experience all this? I groaned as I hugged the toilet and threw up some more. Joel came into the bathroom, I must have woken him up when I bolted for the toilet.
Two days now, I’ve experienced morning sickness. It’s been two weeks since we found out I was pregnant. Yesterday we found out that we were in fact 6 weeks along. My due date was December 22nd. I must have gotten pregnant our very first time, or the following times in the days after that. We saw our little sweet pea. It was so tiny and there was a little flicker of a heartbeat. We couldn’t hear it, unfortunately, and Doc Thatcher really tried. He was happy to see I gained two pounds too. But I think with all the throwing up I’ve been doing, I bet those two pounds were gone.
