After introducing Lucas to the girls, I had no idea what the next step would be. We lived in two different worlds, and I wasn’t sure anybody would want to move.
One of the reasons I didn’t want to tell them about Lucas was because I didn’t want to give them any false hope. They would certainly like to be close to their father after finding out about him.
But the chances of it happening were slim.
I didn’t see myself moving back to New York and wasn’t sure that Lucas would abandon everything and move to Japan.
Even if we wanted to co-parent, I wasn’t sure it would work. I still hadn’t forgiven Lucas for everything he did to me.
My revenge plans were still in motion.
It was like closure for me.
His finding out about the kids didn’t change anything
