I spent the whole afternoon getting to know the girls. They had a lot of questions, and I tried my best to answer them, even though most of the questions were uncomfortable.
I noticed that the girls were inquisitive and didn’t hesitate to say what they were thinking about. It was nice hanging out with them. I realized how much time I had lost and was determined to make up for it.
When the day finally ended, it was kind of a bittersweet moment having to say goodbye to them. I couldn’t even bring myself to tell them that I was leaving for New York the next day.
