I watched as Leo hugged Katherina. I witnessed how she cried in his arms and held him like he was her only source of comfort.
My heart wrenched.
I wanted to go in and pull them apart but I couldn't bear to do that. At least not right now.
I know that Katherina was hurting. She was heartbroken by whatever happened between us back then.
As much as I wanted to hold Katherina, I couldn't go forward. The loud cries of the babies brought tears to my eyes.
I wanted to hold them, but I didn't know how Katherina would react to that. What if she flares up as soon as she sees me?"
What if her condition deteriorates once she sees me?
Several thoughts rummaged through my mind. I want my family back. I want my wife and kids back in my life, but not at the expense of Katherina's heal
