I listened to the man's worried tone as he spoke.
"Yes doctor, please save Katherina," Ben added.
The doctor gave him a strange look before going back in. I couldn't utter a word. I looked on at what was happening around me.
As much as it hurts me to hear that I might lose my babies, I can't dwell on it. I can't be selfish right now.
It's what I would do anyway. I'd rather save Katherina and pray to have more babies soon. Tony stood beside me and placed his hand on my shoulder.
He understands me more than anyone. He must have seen that I was conflicted. I want my babies to be safe. I want to hold my children, but not at the expense of Katherina's life.
