I woke up before my alarm.

By the time I reached the dining room, Leo was already sitting at the table.
His good eye immediately brightened.
“Mummy!”
“Good morning.”
He launched himself at me before I could sit down.
I kissed the top of his head.
“Good morning, troublemaker.”
He grinned.
I glanced toward Camille.
She sat quietly across the table, a small smile on her face as she watched Leo.
When she noticed me looking, she smiled.
“Good morning.”
I smiled back.
