As we got into the living room, Aiden placed both his hands on my shoulders and stared at me angrily.
“What is wrong with you? Do you want to get yourself killed?” He asked in a stern voice. I could tell he was extremely angry at me but he tried his best to keep himself from losing his s**t.
I was quiet and didn’t respond.
“I specifically told you not to leave the house today. I also left you a note. I even asked Sarah to spend the day with you so you won't do anything stupid.” He said through gritted teeth before taking several deep breaths to calm himself down.
Before I could say anything, I heard Sarah’s voice coming from the stairs. “Noah, why did you close the door and run away?” She asked, her voice filled with frustration.
